Balanced Seas - Final Recommendations Summary Report
Balanced Seas has produced a summary of the Final Recommendations for Marine Conservation Zones for south-east England. The recommendations, developed by the Balanced Seas Regional Stakeholder Group, were submitted to Natural England and the Joint Nature Conservation Committee at the beginning of September.
The 36 page summary brochure can be downloaded from the bottom right of the homepage at www.balancedseas.org. It is not intended as a replacement to the full report, but provides an overview with seven maps showing details of the recommended sites, along with a description of why each area is of particular interest. Helpful background information explaining the project process and the next steps is also included.
