Balanced Seas Project submits recommendations
On Tuesday 6th September, the Balanced Seas project submitted its final recommendations for Marine Conservation Zones in the south-east to Natural England and the Joint Nature Conservation Committee.
The Balanced Seas Final Report gives recommendations for 30 Marine Conservation Zones. The report is the result of two years tremendous hard work of the Balanced Seas Regional Stakeholder Group, supported by the three advisory Local Groups. The report, and descriptions of each of the Marine Conservation Zones, can be found here: www.balancedseas.org/page/RSG Resources.html .
